1968 Fastback - Exterior
Work began on the fastback's body in July 1999, by having it media blasted to bare metal to remove the bondo and old paint.  Several structural problems became apparent that would require major work.
July 1999, it was obvious our work was cut out for us as the fastback had been driven hard, had been in at least two accidents, and had been generally mistreated.
The bodywork began in December 1999 by replacing a portion of the left rear quarter, and the entire right rear quarter.
Work continued for the next few months, smoothing the welds and restoring the graceful lines the fastback once had.
By June 2000, good progress had been made  with the bodywork and the first coat of primer was painted.  Trouble definitely looked better!
